Mr. Kavanagh asked the Taoiseach in respect of each of the last three years (a) the estimated expenditure of visitors to the Republic, including passenger fare receipts of Irish carriers and (b) such expenditure as a percentage of gross national product. Haughey The Taoiseach: (a) The estimated expenditure of visitors to Ireland, including the passenger fare receipts of Irish carriers from visitors to Ireland, was £591 million in 1984, £685 million in 1985 and £649 million in 1986.
