128. Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment if arrangements will be made for payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly): An inspection by appointment, with a view to approval and payment of the grant will be carried out as soon as possible.

129. Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly): The certificate (S.L. 108) by the contractor and the applicant relating to the completion of works has not been received.

130. Mr. Carey asked the Minister for [1598] the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly): There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

131. Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment when approval of a new house grant and mortgage subsidy application will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly): The application relates to both the £2,000 grant and the £2,250 “builders” grant. Approval to the £2,000 grant has issued. A decision in relation to the £2,250 grant must await the receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant.
