234. Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Education if she will take immediate steps to intervene in the dispute between the Cork Regional Technical College and the union involved; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): Labour relations in Cork Regional Technical College are the responsibility of the college management and the City of Cork Vocational Education Committee in the first instance.

I am not aware of any notice of dispute having been served recently by a union in Cork Regional Technical College.
