88. Mrs. Hussey asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce when he will meet the representatives of the NET group of unions to discuss the issues which are of great importance to the workforce prior to the NET/ICI merger; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. Reynolds): I have informed the NET group of unions that I am prepared, at a mutually convenient date, to meet their representatives jointly with the Minister for Labour with whom they have also sought a meeting, to discuss issues relating to the NET/ICI joint venture.
