262. Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application for two prefabricated classrooms by Scoil Náisiúnta Muire na nGael, Bay Estate, Dundalk, County Louth.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): My Department, having recently completed a survey of enrolment trends and accommodation needs of the Dundalk area, has under consideration an application from the school authorities for the grant-aiding of two prefabricated classrooms at Scoil Náisiúnta Muire na nGael, Bay Estate, Dundalk, County Louth. It is expected that a decision can be conveyed to the school authorities at an early date.
