[118] Minister for Defence (Mr. O'Toole): The range of weapons available to An Forsa Cosanta Áitiúil — from various types of small arms to heavy-calibre infantry equipment — is generally in good condition and serviceable. There is a continuous programme for the provision of modern equipment for the Defence Forces generally — including An Forsa Cosanta Áitiúil — within the financial resources available to my Department.
