Fahey asked the Minister [996] for Health if dental services are to be transferred from Cappoquin to Lismore, County Waterford; and, if so, the reason for this change. Minister for Health (Mr. B. Desmond): Discussions are taking place in the South Eastern Health Board at present on the possible transfer of dental services from Lismore where the dental clinic is in poor structural condition to Cappoquin where the health centre has a fully equipped new dental surgery. Fahey asked the Minister for Health his views on the curtailment of medical and dental services to national schools in County Waterford; and the reason such services have been curtailed. Desmond): There has not been a curtailment of medical and dental services for children in national schools in County Waterford.
