3. Mr. Hyland asked the Minister for Finance if he is satisfied that proper and effective customs service and customs checks operate at Irish airports, including small airports; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Mr. J. Bruton: I am satisfied that a proper and effective customs service and adequate customs checking procedures operate at the three main airports and at other licensed aerodromes.
