71. Mr. Gregory-Independent asked the Minister for Defence if he will reconsider the request of a member of the Defence Forces (details supplied) for a further term as he has served six years and is most anxious to stay on.

Minister for Defence (Mr. O'Toole): On foot of an application made by him on 21 April 1986 the person in question has been extended in service for a one year probation period commencing on 8 July 1986.
