Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware of the application of a person (details supplied) in County Cork for a £600 reconstruction grant; the reason for the delay in the matter; and when he will receive this grant. The applicant has been advised that payment of the grant for the installation of bathroom facilities cannot be made until certain outstanding works have been completed. Mr. Allen Mr. Allen 67 62. Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware of the application of a person (details supplied) in County Cork for a £5,000 new house grant; the reason for the delay in the [67] matter; and when he will receive this grant. Payment of this grant is made as soon as possible after receipt from the local authority handling the application of a certificate indicating that the applicant has met the grant conditions in full. The certificate in this case was recently received in the Department and the grant will be paid within a few weeks. Mr. Carey Mr. Carey 63. Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid a reconstruction grant. Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite the allocation of payment of a home improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
