45. Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for the Environment if, in view of Deputy Cowens' previous representations on the matter, he will arrange for a reinspection to be carried out immediately for a dwelling house of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly who has applied for a house improvement grant, as the cost of work to be carried out is £7,000 and a grant of only £1,700 is being approved.

Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. O'Sullivan): An [62] inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.

46. Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for the Environment if he will confirm that, as a result of a copy of planning permission being submitted to him as requested recently, a house improvement grant will now be paid immediately to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.
