11. Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Defence the up-to-date position regarding the computerisation of Army stocks and equipment systems; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Defence (Mr. O'Toole): A feasibility study has been completed in connection with the computerisation of my Department's supply function which includes the stores system of the Defence Forces. A statement of requirements is being developed with a view to having requests for proposals issued to computer companies.
