69. Mr. Connolly asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount levied per house in service charges in each county council and urban council for the years 1984 and 1985; and the total amount levied for each year.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): The amount levied per house for service charges in 1984 and in 1985 is included in the following tabular statement. The total estimated income from domestic charges, in so far as it can be separately identified in local authority estimates for 1984 and 1985 amounted to £29.3 million and £27.8 million respectively.
