48. Mr. R. Burke asked the Minister for the Environment if he agrees that the correct management structure for the new local authorities in the Dublin region is a single independent manager per each authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): Proposals with regard to the management structure will be included in the legislation which is currently in course of preparation to give effect to local government reorganisation in the Dublin area.
