Brady asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give details of the gross incomes for the six month period from 1 January to 30 June 1985, of each of the six temporary veterinary inspectors accruing from duties carried out at North Wall, Dún Laoghaire and Dublin Airport; the dates on which each officer was approved for such duties; the length of time each officer had to wait for the first appointment dating from the submission of his official application to his Department; and the parameter applied in determining individual duty-frequency. (i) Details of approvals/engagements prior to 1975 are not available. 233 [233] Private veterinary practitioners are approved for engagement as part time temporary veterinary inspectors on the basis that they will be called upon as and when their services are required.
