36. Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for the Environment when he will pay a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): A grant cannot be allowed in this case because, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, the work had commenced before an inspection of the house was carried out. The applicant was so informed on 21 September 1984.

37. Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for the Environment when he will pay a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): A grant could not be allowed in this case as the statutory conditions relating to the application for the relevant certificate of reasonable value were not complied with at the time.
