[776] 163. Mr. Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment the progress that has been made in relation to a proposed group water scheme (details supplied) in County Donegal in respect of which survey sheets were submitted to his Department some three months ago.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): I understand that Donegal County Council recently agreed to provide a water supply to this group. The further processing of the group scheme proposal to the stage where grants can be allocated is a matter for the Donegal County Council under the devolved arrangements for dealing with group schemes which apply in that county.
