110. Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment in view of a reply (details supplied) from Dublin Corporation and the situation regarding the provision of bathrooms for houses in the Dublin area, some 50 years old, if he will take steps to overcome the problems which exist in order to ensure that bathrooms can be provided for the houses concerned.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): Any problem arising in the implementation of the scheme in question is a matter for the corporation to consider in the first instance in the context of its general staffing needs and the most effective deployment of its available staff.
