Mr. Naughten Mr. Naughten
470. Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount of moneys, specifying the details of the expenditure, paid by his Department to Counties Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan and Roscommon for 1982, 1983 and 1984.
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh) Liam Kavanagh
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): Due to the multiplicity and diversity of payments made by my Department to local authorities, other organisations and individuals, the compilation of the information requested would consume an inordinate amount of scarce staff resources. If, however, the Deputy requires information of a more specific nature and lets me know, I will endeavour to let him have it as quickly as possible.
