567. Mr. P. Gallagher asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to commence the erection of a new national school at Drumkeen, County Donegal.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes): The planning of the proposed new school at Drumkeen, County Donegal, is in the hands of an architect in private practice who has been engaged by the manager of the school. On 16 October 1984 the Department of Education sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the project and the manager's architect was then authorised to prepare the working drawings. It is not possible to say at this stage when the erection of the school will commence.
