[795] 654. Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education if she is satisfied with the condition of the national school at Letter-mullen, Connemara, County Galway; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): My Department on July 11 1984 sanctioned a grant for various improvements recommended by the Commissioners of Public Works to be carried out on the grounds of the national school at Lettermullen, Connemara, County Galway. A further report is expected in the near future from the commissioners regarding the structural condition of the building. My Department will be in touch with the school authorities in the light of the commissioners' further report.
