Written Answers. - Kerry School.

577. Mr. J. O'Leary asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the acceptance of tender for a school (details supplied) in County Kerry; and when she expects work to commence on the building of this new school.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that tenders for the construction of the school referred to by the Deputy are at present under examination and a report in the matter will shortly be made to my Department. The question of placing a contract will then arise for consideration. It is not possible to state at this stage when building work may commence.
