726. Mr. S. Walsh asked the Minister for Education the present position in regard to the provision of a post primary school to serve the Kilnamanagh area of Tallaght, County Dublin.

727. Mr. S. Walsh asked the Minister for Education if she will arrange to meet a deputation from the Kilnamanagh education group, Tallaght, County Dublin to discuss the provision of a post primary school at Kilnamanagh, Tallaght, County Dublin.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): I propose to take Questions Nos. 726 and 727 together.

I would refer the Deputy to the terms of the reply to a similar question (No. 473 of the 2 November 1983) relating to a new post-primary school at Kilnamanagh. There has been no change since in [2123] the position, which still continues to be kept under review.

If and when a request for a deputation to be received is made, by the local education group, I shall consider the request.
