549. Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Finance if he will investigate excessive income taxation of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes): I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an amended certificate of tax-free allowances for 1984-85 was issued to the taxpayer on 28 May 1984. This certificate takes account of all the allowances and reliefs to which the taxpayer has proved title.
