612. Mr. G. Collins asked the Minister for Education if she will make a statement with regard to the provision of new classrooms, general purpose rooms, staff room and library at a school (details supplied) in County Limerick.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): Agreement has been reached by my Department with the school authorities [2291] on the amount of local contribution to be provided towards the cost of the school building scheme in question. My Department currently await the submission of documentary evidence of satisfactory title to a site extension at the school. When this matter has been finalised a grant will be sanctioned and the further architectural planning of the project can then proceed.
