510. Mr. Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment when departmental approval will be given in respect of an extension of the water supply scheme to serve Knather Road area, Ballyshannon, County Donegal.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh): I have allocated £150,000 to the Donegal County Council in respect of the council's 1984 small water and sewerage schemes programme which includes a proposal to provide a water supply extension to serve the Knather Road area of Ballyshannon. It is now a matter for the council to determine which individual schemes from its programme should be financed within its small schemes allocation.
