509. Mr. L.T. Cosgrave asked the Minister for Education when a decision will be made on the provision of new toilets in a school (details supplied) in County Dublin; if she is aware of the long delays in the past few years in finalising this matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

 Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): My Department are awaiting a report from the Commissioners of Public Works regarding proposals for the carrying out of improvements at the school in question, including improved toilet accommodation. When the report has been received and considered my Department will communicate with the school authorities without delay.
