160. Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Labour if it is the Government's intention to proceed with the setting up of a national youth award scheme.

Minister for Labour (Mr. Quinn): The Government are committed to the introduction of a national award scheme for young people. I am arranging for the establishment of appropriate machinery for the introduction and operation of the award scheme.
