606. Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Education if she will expedite a decision on school transport for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): The pupil in question has been offered free transport on the service to Castle-plunkett national school the route of which operates within 0.6 miles of her home. A reasonable standard of service [1176] within the terms of the school transport scheme is therefore available to her.
