Collins asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying a new house grant and a mortgage interest subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and when they will be paid. Minister for the Environment (Mr. Spring) Dick Spring Minister for the Environment (Mr. Spring): There has been no delay in dealing with this case. When the applicant notifies my Department that his house is complete, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant. The applicant has been requested to confirm the date of execution of his mortgage. On receipt of this information a decision will be made regarding his eligibility for the mortgage subsidy. Mr. G.
