Mr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Education if she will approve the building of an extra pre-fabricated classroom and other extensions for Donoughmore national school, County Limerick, as there is serious overcrowding there and the number of pupils is increasing at the rate of 10 per cent per annum.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): A recent application by the chairman of [365] the school's board of management for grant assistance towards the provision of an extra prefabricated classroom and other accommodation at Donoughmore national school, County Limerick, is under consideration. My Department will be in contact with the chairman as soon as investigations have been completed.
