310. Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Finance if he will pay a tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

[329] Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes): I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's liability for the year 1982-83 has been reviewed by the inspector of taxes and a cheque in settlement of the overpayment arising will be issued at an early date.

The delay in making the review in this case is regretted.
