Written Answers. - Income Tax Refund.
Mr. Aylward Mr. Aylward
 234. Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance the reason a full income tax refund has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as she was unemployed from 6 May to the end of July 1983.
Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes) Alan Dukes
Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes): I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a refund of tax on the grounds of unemployment was made to the taxpayer on 3 August 1983, in respect of the period 6 to 31 May 1983. The taxpayer indicated last August that she has taken up new employment and, therefore, the making of any further tax refund to her in respect of the current year is a matter for the present employer.
