261. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht if he will state arising out of Parliamentary Question No. 268 if he is aware that a sum of £40,000 was paid to a non-resident as a settlement of a High Court case which involved Údarás na Gaeltachta and the non-resident; and the source from which this £40,000 was issued to the non-resident.

Aire na Gaeltachta (Mr. O'Toole): Tuigim ó Údarás na Gaeltachta go ndearnadh socrú lasmuigh den chúirt sa bhliain 1981 i gcás dlí a thóg duine in aghaidh fochomhlachta dá chuid agus gur íoc an fochomhlacht suim airgid dá réir leis an duine sin.
