255. Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Education if she is aware of the grave dissatisfaction and frustration which exists arising from the prolonged inaction regarding the construction and development of Gaelscoil Inse Chor, Dublin 12; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

256. Mrs. Lemass asked the Minister for Education when she intends to issue instructions to the Office of Public Works to proceed with the planning and development of Gaelscoil, Inchicore, Dublin 12.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): I propose to take Questions Nos. 255 and 256 together.

The implications of a recent further survey carried out by the Commissioners of Public Works into the cost of development [2124] of the building site offered to Gaelscoil Inse Chor are currently being examined in my Department. The outcome will shortly be conveyed to the chairman of the school's board of management.
