117. Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Education if her Department will make a grant available to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 who has been granted a place on a three-year piano tuning course in Edinburgh which commences on 1 October 1983, as no such courses are available in this country; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): No information is available to my Department in regard to the circumstances of the person in question or of the course as a piano tuner for which it is stated she has been granted a place at Stevenson College, Edinburgh.

There are no funds at my disposal for the award of grants for the general purpose referred to in the question from the Deputy.
