Dáil Éireann - Volume 344 - 07 July, 1983

Written Answers. - Ballymun (Dublin) Garda Strength.

37. Mr. Barrett (Dublin North-West) asked the Minister for Justice if he will arrange for the provision of additional gardaí at Ballymun Garda Station, Dublin.

Minister for Justice (Mr. Noonan, Limerick East): The detailed deployment of Garda manpower is a matter for the Garda authorities who inform me that a vacancy for a sergeant at Ballymun station was filled in April and that three recruit gardaí were allocated there last month, resulting in a net increase of three in the strength of the station party as compared with the strength on 31 December 1982.
