843. Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education the progress made in regard to the retention of secondary education at St. Joseph's College, Freshford, County Kilkenny; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): A proposal for the continued operation of St. Joseph's College, Freshford, as a day secondary school catering for boys and girls is under consideration in my Department. A decision will be made in the matter as soon as possible.
