Fahey asked the Minister for Agriculture the position in regard to the Land Commission's involvement in an estate (details supplied) in County Galway. Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Deasy) Austin Deasy Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Deasy): The Land Commission have decided to terminate the acquisition proceedings in respect of this estate. Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will make a section 40 order in respect of an estate (details supplied) in County Galway and ensure that it is allocated to the local small farmers. Treacy asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a section 40 order was not made in respect of an estate (details supplied) in County Galway; and [720] if he will do so now and thereby ensure that these lands are allocated to the local small farmers.
