730. Mr. De Rossa asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the fact that the levels of support given to B.Ed. students have been a major factor in enabling a greater number of students from lower socio-economic groups to attend teacher training colleges than in the university sector, she will ensure that these levels of support will be maintained in the academic year 1983-1984.
