[2215] 493. Mr. S. Byrne asked the Minister for Education when she will build a new national school at Powerstown, Clonmel, County Tipperary.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): On 24 February 1983 my Department authorised the Commissioners of Public Works to allow the proposed extension of Powerstown national school to proceed to invitation of tenders. The chairman was so advised on the same date.
