Dáil Éireann - Volume 339 - 02 February, 1983 Written Answers. - Redundancy Payments. Dr. Ormonde Dr. Ormonde 284. Dr. Ormonde asked the Minister for Labour the reason a person (details supplied) from Waterford has not received his redundancy payments although most of his fellow workers have received them. Minister for Labour (Mr. Kavanagh) Liam Kavanagh Minister for Labour (Mr. Kavanagh): On the information available to my Department, it appears that the person concerned would not have an entitlement to a redundancy lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts because he has been in receipt of an invalidity pension from the Department of Social Welfare which implies that he is permanently incapable of work. However, the matter is still under examination and I will write to the Deputy as soon as a final decision has been taken. Dáil Éireann 339 Written Answers. Redundancy Payments. Questions 19830202
