315. Mr. Donnellan asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay by his Department in dealing with correspondence from a person (details supplied) in County Galway regarding a land registry transfer.

[882] Minister for Justice (Mr. Doherty): An application for registration of a transfer of land was lodged in the Land Registry on 27 September 1982 and was rejected on 5 October 1982. The application was relodged on 21 October 1982 and is at present being processed in the land registry. There has been no undue delay in this case.
