787. Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Education the number of full-time students at the commencement of the academic year in September last; and the percentage of the population that this represents.

Minister for Education (Mr. Boland): Statistical returns for the 1981-82 academic year have not all been furnished by the schools to my Department. If the Deputy repeats his question early in 1982, the information may then be available in a preliminary form.
