Dáil Éireann - Volume 331 - 10 December, 1981

Written Answers. - Inverin (Galway) Vocational School.

60. Mr. Donnellan asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the urgent need to provide immediate additional classroom accommodation at the vocational school, Inverin, County Galway, in view of the fact that the prefabs are leaking and that a bicycle shed is being used as a classroom.

Minister for Education (Mr. Boland): A formal application from the County Galway Vocational Education Committee for an extension to the vocational school at Inverin is at present under examination by my Department. Following completion of this examination, I would hope to be in a position shortly to take a decision on the question of replacing the prefab classrooms with permanent accommodation.
