Mr. Coughlan Mr. Coughlan
677. Mr. Coughlan asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a public telephone kiosk will be provided at Tullintain, Killybegs, County Donegal as mooted by Donegal County Council on 30 June 1980.
Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Cooney) Patrick M. Cooney
Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Cooney): Provision of a kiosk at this centre would not be warranted on the basis of the normal criteria applied. My Department are prepared, however, to provide a kiosk there on the basis that the county council would idemnify them against any loss in its provision and maintenance. Confirmation that the county council are willing to guarantee a kiosk there is awaited.
