677. Mr. Coughlan asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a public telephone kiosk will be provided at Tullintain, Killybegs, County Donegal as mooted by Donegal County Council on 30 June 1980.

[1476] Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Cooney): Provision of a kiosk at this centre would not be warranted on the basis of the normal criteria applied. My Department are prepared, however, to provide a kiosk there on the basis that the county council would idemnify them against any loss in its provision and maintenance. Confirmation that the county council are willing to guarantee a kiosk there is awaited.
