[1361] 15. Mr. Cogan asked the Minister for Justice the number of burglaries in Cork in (a) the last six months and (b) 1978, 1979 and 1980.

Minister for Justice (Mr. G. Collins): Crime statistics for 1980 are not yet completed. They are expected to be completed within the next month or two. The numbers of burglaries, including aggravated burglaries, committed in Cork city and county in 1978 and 1979 were 1,962 and 2,130 respectively.
