342. Mr. T.J. Fitzpatrick (Cavan-Monaghan) asked the Minister for the Environment why the full home improvement grant of £600 was not paid where the reconstruction costs were far in excess of £900, to a person (details supplied) in Cavan; and if he will have the case investigated with a view to payment of the full grant.

[73] Minister for the Environment (Mr. R. Burke): The maximum grant of £600 has been paid in this case — £450 on 23 April 1979 and £150 on 20 August 1979.
