106. Mr. Donnellan asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Land Commission will consider acquiring the Joe Dooley estate, Cloughanover, Headford, County Galway.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. MacSharry): This small property of eight hectares was sold by public auction in three lots last year. Having considered the outcome of the auction, the Land Commission [364] decided that no steps should be taken towards the acquisition of the lands.
