[857] 340. Mr. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a solid fuel grant to a person (details supplied) in South West Cork; and when payment will be made.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. R. Burke): This grant was paid on 1 December 1980. Any delay in payment was due to the huge number of applications for housing grants being processed in my Department.
